2025 – Power the Transition: The key Role of Grid Resilience

The General Assembly of the On Power Grids Association (OPG) was held in Rome, bringing together stakeholders from the electricity distribution sector, including DSOs, manufacturers, suppliers, and technical and engineering consultancy companies.
The Association is dedicated to research and development activities in the power and energy sector, with a particular focus on projects of strategic national importance.
Two years after its establishment, and upon the completion of the current mandate, the OPG Advisory Board was renewed as follows:

During the Assembly, participants were presented with:
• The OPG 2026 Strategy
• The activity plans of the six Technical Committees
• The ongoing initiatives developed by the Association’s internal working groups
The event marked an important opportunity to review progress achieved to date and to define the next steps in supporting innovation, collaboration, and the development of the electricity distribution sector.
